THE SOLUTION:
The maid did it-and the butler helped!Regina slipped the potion into Inspector Dog's cucumber sandwich. Wesley and Regina had been snatching jewels from the guests all evening. (Can you discover when each guest loses a jewel?) When the lights went out, Regina rushed into the drawing room and tripped over the unconscious inspector as she grabbed the Dudley Diamond.The trail of spilled cakes led Inspector Dog to the culprits. All of the diamonds are stashed in the ice bucket.
