Discuss the Experience- Module 4

Once I got started on this module, it only took me two weeks and much procrastination since I hate the sound of my voice, I found that overall the experience was relatively painless and very rewarding. It was good to have to go back and use some of the programs/tools that we learned about in earlier modules. I'm was fascinated to read about some of the podcasts that my other classmates subscribed to in the podcasting module. I found some incredible podcasts and tools while searching for podcasts that I plan to share. I posted info. on Voice Thread in my Blog, as well as the discussion board. I do like to visit YouTube and it blows me away on what is there.

I did want to mention that my other minor problem was with Audacity non responding and closing whenever I would re-record my audio. But, you get what you pay for and it was only a minor nuisance.

At this time, I only found Sally's podcasts posted on the discussion board. I liked it and it gave me a personal connection with Sally. I did notice that there were some non-working Blog urls in an earlier discussion board. I enjoyed reading Sally's, Brett's and Laura's. I thought that they were organized and I enjoyed learning about my classmates.

I have to admit that I'm no longer afraid of podcasting. Do I have the voice for it, no way, but you at least get a sense of who I am. Goodnight Everyone.

Voice Thread

As I was working on the Podcasting module for the Advanced Technologies course that I am currently taking, I came across a really cool site Voice Thread
http://voicethread.com/ It's an online media album that holds different type of media and allows people to make comments and via voice, text, writing tool or webcam. It's free for K-12 instructors or $60 per year. Check it out.
